D-backs, Goldschmidt agree to five-year extension

Paul Goldschmidt and the Diamondbacks have agreed on a five-year, $32 million extension with a $14.5 million club option for 2019. The first baseman hit .286 with 20 home runs and 82 RBIs in 2012.
