Ramirez symptom-free, reinstated from DL

With infielder Jamey Carroll getting traded to the Royals for a player to be named later or cash on Sunday, the Twins activated outfielder Wilkin Ramirez from the disabled list on Monday to take his spot on the roster.

    Left fielder Alex Gordon was not in the Royals' starting lineup on Monday night because his family was growing. His wife, Jamie, gave birth to the couple's second child, a son. Their son Max was born in September 2010.
