Carriker expects to begin training camp on the physically unable to perform list after suffering a setback in his recovery that required a second surgery early in the offseason. The Redskins haven’t seen defensive end Adam Carriker on the field since he ruptured his right quadriceps in the second week of the 2012 season and the wait for his return looks like it will extend into training camp. Stephen Bowen is slated to start at one defensive end spot with Jarvis Jenkins the likeliest choice on the other side after he replaced Carriker in the starting lineup last season. The Giants' web site has a list of 10 things it learned from minicamp, including that David Wilson remains interested in serving as a kick returner in spite of his increased role in the running game. He hasn’t been able to practice with his teammates at all this spring as he works to get back into football shape and said that he doesn’t have enough range of motion in his leg to even think about getting back on the field right now.
