Bengals cornerback Adam Jones was supposed to stand trial on assault charges Monday, but the day at the courtroom ended before it started. Kimball Perry of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports that the case was continued until a later date. Jones has argued that he was protecting himself from the woman, who appeared to stick something in Jones’ face before he struck her.
