    The Giants filled Brown's spot on the 53-man roster Wednesday by signing defensive end Adewale Ojomo from their practice squad for Sunday's opener at Dallas. Ojomo was on the Giants' roster last season but played in only one game. It turns out the Giants filled the void on the active roster with Andre Brown headed to short term IR NOT by signing one of the many veteran RB’s available, but by promoting DE Adewale Ojomo to the final 53. Whether he dresses for games or not, that is to be determined and with JPP not quite ready to go yet the Giants may in fact decided to give Ojomo a shot at Dallas’ first team offense for the first time Sunday night. As we updated yesterday, OL Steven Baker was signed to the practice squad after his workout, so if you were paying attention temporarily the Giants had 9 known players on a practice squad with a maximum of 8 allowed.
