    Andre Brown is eligible to return to action when the New York Giants host the Oakland Raiders on Nov. A broken leg in the New York Giants’ final preseason game has kept Andre Brown out for the first eight weeks of the season. The Giants believe that Brown will be able to make his debut next week against the Oakland Raiders after their bye this week. Because of the injuries to Brown and Wilson, the Giants have had five different starting running backs in the first eight weeks of the season. Brown has been on short-term injured reserve since breaking his left leg in the Giants' final preseason game, but has been practicing with the team since Oct. 17. "He's still day-to-day and I think early next week he's going to have some more tests to see where things have progressed to," general manager Jerry Reese said Tuesday, of Wilson, "and we'll make some decisions as we move forward with him."
