Boley has started at least 11 games in his previous eight years. PFT has confirmed that the Bengals are adding veteran linebacker Michael Boley. Three weeks after having him in for a workout, the Bengals signed Michael Boley on Tuesday to add depth to a thin linebacking unit. Boley also brings some off-field baggage to Cincinnati. In fact Boley played under Zimmer in 2007 during Zimmer's one season in Atlanta and in 16 starts had three sacks, two interceptions, four forced fumbles, and 93 tackles. The Bengals worked him out in early September, when they were running short at the position. The Bengals have been short with five linebackers most of the season and now with people getting some miles on them they appear to be shoring up their depth.
