Paul hit Griffin on back-to-back alley-oops midway through the third quarter as L.A. broke open the game. Chris Pauljust connected with Blake Griffin on three consecutive alley-oops, and our neighbors are banging on the wall to get me to shut up. It took less than 20 seconds Thursday for the Clippers’ Chris Paul and Blake Griffin to double the Spurs’ entire 2012-13 season’s worth of alley-oop output. Deadspin noted earlier this month that San Antonio managed to complete just one lob for a dunk all of last season; the Clippers, who led the league in alley-oops, were back on the Lob City grind during their 126-115 victory over the Warriors. Griffin was well outside the three-point line when Paul released the pass, but he tracked it over his shoulder like a football receiver, catching the alley-oop in full stride, before finishing again with two hands in one motion. The Warriors are down by double digits and CP3 is playing out of his mind, but Stephen Curry has 9 three-pointers on his last one he was also fouled and we’ve still got more than half of the fourth to play. This is going to be fun. What do you think?
