But Freeman certainly was not expecting to be overcome with the outrage he felt when he learned he had been placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right oblique muscle. "Especially this early in the season, we're not going to take a chance to turn what would be two to three weeks into six or eight weeks by tearing that oblique area," Wren said.
