Milwaukee Bucks center Larry Sanders will not play in Wednesday night’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers because of an “off-court incident,” Bucks head coach Larry Drew said. Bucks coach Larry Drew announced Wednesday night before the Bucks' game against the Cleveland Cavaliers that Sanders wouldn't play because of a "sore thumb," but also said Sanders is out because of an off-court incident that is "under investigation." Milwaukee Bucks big man Larry Sanders ranks as one of the most effective interior defenders in the NBA, a player who at only 24 years old figures to be a bright part of the team's future. Despite the win, the future of their newly extended big man Larry Sanders is still up in the air as police continue to investigate allegations about his role in a fight at a Milwaukee club early Sunday morning. As reported by the Associated Press, Sanders is under investigation for his role in a bar fight that took place last Saturday night: A fight where Sanders allegedly threw punches and broke champagne bottles over the heads of people while security tried to break up the fight. Police spokesman Mark Stanmeyer later said Wednesday that a victim, who is 26 and from Sussex, “told officers that his forehead was cut when he was struck with a bottle during a fight.”
