    Whether it’s by trade or release, the Bucs need to move on from Freeman. The Bucs and Schiano would have had no reason to leak anything about Freeman on Monday, at a time when the Bucs are trying to trade Freeman. Freeman is now free to sign with any other team . Freeman is just 25 and will be a free agent after the season. Or maybe Freeman will dig in and say, essentially, “If you want to get rid of me and you can’t trade me, cut me and pay me.” In the ongoing feud between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and quarterback Josh Freeman, SI has learned that Freeman has been fined twice by the club in the last month, including once in the last week, for conduct detrimental to the team. If that were to happen, though, would they feel more confident with their current backup, Dominique Davis, who knows the system but has never thrown a regular-season NFL pass; or with Freeman, who has 59 NFL starts under his belt?
