The Chicago Bulls officially announced the signing of veteran combo guard Aaron Brooks on Tuesday. The Bulls also announced Tuesday's signing of free-agent guard Aaron Brooks. The Bulls also officially signed rookie Doug McDermott on Tuesday. Brooks split time last season between the Denver Nuggets and the Houston Rockets averaging 9.0 points and 3.2 assists a game. The Bulls acquired the Creighton alum on draft night, sending the 16th and 19th picks to the Denver Nuggets in exchange for McDermott and Anthony Randolph. As a Creighton senior last season, McDermott averaged a nation-leading 26.7 points, becoming one of eight players in NCAA history to score more than 3,000 career points.
