• Bush practices with hip injury, not knee injury

    The bad news for Dolphins running back Reggie Bush is that he now has a hip injury. Bush was limited in practice on Wednesday, due to a hip that he apparently injured when he played against the Cardinals on Sunday, seven days after injuring his knee. Reggie Bush suffered a knee injury in Week Three and then played anyway in Week Four. Bush averaged 3.9 yards a carry Sunday against the Cardinals, his worst average in a game since November of last year, and he told reporters on Wednesday that the reason is he was still feeling the effects of that knee injury. If Bush can’t play better, he may be doing the Dolphins a disservice by toughing it out. Not practicing on Wednesday were linebacker Kelvin Burnett , cornerback Richard Marshall , and cornerback Nolan Carroll.
