    In his first Panthers training camp, Bell was just trying to make the team. “This year I want to take my game to the next level, whatever that may be,” Bell said. Bell was called for 14 penalties in his rookie season after the Panthers picked him up as an undrafted free agent, but he trimmed that number to five last season as the full-time starter at right tackle. A good portion of those may be absorbed by rookie running back Le'Veon Bell, who turned three short passes into long runs during team drills Sunday.
