• Chargers Sign Robinson, Place English on IR

    Summary of 4 articles · Updated Nov 12, 2013
This season could be the last of English's Chargers career. English is a free agent after this season, so he may have played his final game for San Diego. For his career, English recorded 91 tackles and 11 sacks for the Chargers. Now the team has announced that linebacker Larry English is done for the year with a biceps injury suffered in last Sunday’s loss to the Broncos. Outside linebacker Adrian Robinson was signed in a corresponding move. Robinson, 6-foot-1 and 250 pounds, worked out for San Diego last month shortly after the Broncos waived him. Melvin Ingram hasn’t made it to the field after an Achilles injury, Dwight Freeney was lost for the year early in the regular season and Jarret Johnson has been battling injuries all season.
