If you’ve read this space much the last few weeks, you know that we have not ruled out the possibility that the Seahawks would bring back Sidney Rice. A source said the Seahawks are interested in bringing back free-agent wide receiver Sidney Rice and have been in talks with him. “Sidney has had an unbelievable recovery from his surgery. But Rice only had 10 catches in his other seven games against better competition. For another, a league source has said it could happen, that the Seahawks had to release Rice and his $8.5 million salary to get Michael Bennett re-signed and do a few other things. Re-signing Rice would mean that other than Tate, the entire receiving corps could be back. But Seattle has some needs at receiver especially now with the loss of Golden Tate, which the team knew all along might happen and has a history of bringing back players it has released.
