Was I going to play? Where I was going to play? When it got to be May or June, we had to make a decision. We bought a house. Dallas Cowboys left guard Ron Leary will have an MRI on Wednesday on his sore left knee. Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News reports that Ron Leary will have an MRI on his left knee after missing Wednesday’s practice because of soreness. “It’s a great thing for us that Leary will be back for the first game and I’m sure that he will be,’’ Jones said. There’s also been chatter linking them to former Chief and Patriot Brian Waters, although the results of Leary’s MRI will likely give some insight into how dire the need for reinforcements up front is in Dallas right now. Ronald Leary will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his left knee on Friday, continuing a summer long issue for the Dallas Cowboys ' offensive line. Leary was penciled in as the starting left guard, but he will now likely need two to four weeks to recover from the procedure, according to a source. Management, however, likes Leary, who had a degenerative condition in his left knee, osteochondritis dissecans, when Dallas acquired him in April 2012 and gave him $214,000 of guaranteed money – the most of any undrafted free agent signed that year. “He has a knee that’s been bothering him a little bit,” Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said. “We’ll see what it is.”
