    Miguel Cabrera has left Detroit's game Thursday against Toronto in the second inning with right ankle soreness. From the way the skipper made it sound, Cabrera should be healthy enough to play on Friday in the series opener against the Angels. There seemed to be no issue with the right ankle until Thursday, when he hobbled around first base in his first-inning at-bat a line drive to right field that Anthony Gose snared with a diving catch. Fister probably will get over it in the long run, but with about a quarter of the season to go, not having him even once, in a tight race , could cost the Tigers dearly.
