    Right after he tore his Achilles tendon in January, receiver DeVier Posey told coach Gary Kubiak he'd be ready in time for Week 1 of this season. That wasn't the case for Posey. “I’m a guy that puts his head down and works,” Posey said. That fact made his Achilles injury that much more unfortunate since it came just as Posey was feeling comfortable in the Texans' offense. Kubiak said after this morning’s practice that Posey has made such good progress from surgery to repair a ruptured Achilles tendon that he could be placed on the roster next week and play in a preseason game. “It looks like we’re very close to pulling him off PUP after this game.
