• Dickerson signs Minor League deal with Pirates

    The Pirates have signed veteran outfielder Chris Dickerson to a Minor League contract with an invitation to Spring Training. The Pirates are looking for outfield depth and Dickerson has experience at all three outfield positions. The 31-year-old Dickerson hit .238 with four home runs and 13 RBIs with Baltimore in 2013. He made his big league debut in the 2008 season and would go on to set career bests in games , doubles and stolen bases with the Reds in '09.
