• D.J. Fluker held out after concussion in practice

    Summary of 5 articles · Updated Sep 22, 2013
Fluker was held out of Thursday’s work after suffering a concussion in practice Wednesday. Fluker did not practice Friday, missing a second straight day because of a concussion he suffered late in practice Wednesday. Mike Harris , a starter at left tackle last season, would start if Fluker can’t play. Fluker's absence is a blow to the Chargers, particularly their run game. If their right tackle isn’t cleared through the league’s concussion protocol, the Chargers would have to turn to backup Michael Harris. The Titans have seven sacks through the first two weeks of the season, so the change on the offensive line will likely lead to more of the quick-hitting passing game that we saw them employ against the Eagles last weekend.
