    Los Angeles Dodgers left-hander Hyun-Jin Ryu has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with inflammation in his throwing shoulder. The Dodgers placed pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu on the 15-day disabled list with left shoulder inflammation and optioned reliever Paco Rodriguez to Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday. Ryu, who was sent to the DL retroactive to Monday, is 3-2 with a 3.00 ERA in seven starts. The fact no MRI has been scheduled suggests the Dodgers are being cautious with Ryu, much the same way they have been with Kershaw after his back flared up following their return from Australia.
