    Should the fumbling continue, there might be a change of heart from Van Pelt and the rest of the Packers staff but, for now, Franklin hasn’t been banished from the lineup. Franklin has coughed the ball up in each of the past two games. After not seeing a snap from scrimmage in the first two games, Franklin rushed for 103 yards all in the second half against the Bengals. Van Pelt said it was because Eddie Lacy was running well and not because the team feels that Franklin is too careless with the ball. His most recent one, which was recovered by quarterback Aaron Rodgers in Sunday’s 22-9 win against the Detroit Lions , earned him a spot on the bench for the rest of the game. Or did it? Van Pelt said no.
