Left guard Donald Thomas banged knees with center Samson Satele while pass blocking on a play in the team’s game against the Dolphins and immediately went down to the ground. Hugh Thornton replaced Thomas after his injury and the Colts, who had driven into the red zone, settled for an Adam Vinatieri field goal to make it a 7-3 Miami lead. Losing a starting offensive lineman for a significant period of time would hurt, as protecting Andrew Luck was already a major concern heading into today’s game.
