• Eagles coaches win over fans by winning over Dallas

    Summary of 16 articles · Updated Oct 21, 2013
Dallas is second in scoring with 30.5 points per game while the Eagles are fourth at 27.7. I've never fully believed it, but I've had more than a few Eagles fans tell me they'd rather beat Dallas twice in a season than make the playoffs. The Eagles got near an end zone only once in the first three quarters. The Eagles , already without wide receiver Jeremy Maclin for the season, are going into a second straight week without a definitive starter at quarterback as they look to snap an eight-game home losing streak. Coach Chip Kelly has not been in Philadelphia long enough to experience the rivalry between the two teams, but he's savvy enough to understand the fans' distaste for divisional opponents and the importance of NFC East games in the overall scheme of the season.
