Gore was penalized, although the Panthers declined it. Panthers corner Captain Munnerlyn escaped a fine for head-butting receiver Michael Crabtree, and safety Mike Mitchell was not fined for his hit on Davis that drew an unnecessary roughness flag. The play was penalized during the game.
