• 2013 Carolina Panthers Fan Fest filled with fun, games

    Fan Fest gets a little more fan friendly each year for the Panthers. Last year's Fan Fest drew around 13,000. The Panthers wrapped up the first week of preseason practice at Fan Fest at Bank of America Stadium with what is likely their last physical practice before the season. One thing I would add at the end of the Fan Fest practice: Give coach Ron Rivera, Steve Smith or Newton a microphone and have them simply talk for about 60 seconds and thank the fans for coming out. On Friday, three Panthers saw their practices end early with various injuries. The event will benefit Panthers charities Following some special teams work and some position drills, Sam Bradford got off to a fast start in the red-zone offense, sandwiching scoring passes to Austin Pettis and Jared Cook in the back of the end zone around a pass to Tavon Austin cutting across the middle of the field.
