The Giants have signed WR Marcus Harris. Harris will replace WR Kris Adams, who was waived due to injury. Packers coach Mike McCarthy said recently that he still considers DuJuan Harris his starting running back even though the team thought so much of Harris’ work last season that they drafted two running backs in the first four rounds of the draft. Those two draftees Eddie Lacy and Johnathan Franklin and the other backs on the Packers roster haven’t had a chance to go head-to-head with Harris this summer because Harris started camp on the PUP list because of a knee injury. Though he was on a limited snap count, sure enough Harris took the first rep with the No. 1 offense during a team period that was focused on the running game. They drafted two running backs, Alabama’s Eddie Lacy in the second round and UCLA’s Johnathan Franklin in the fourth, and two others, veterans Alex Green and James Starks , have come back healthy.
