Brandon Crawford led off the 10th inning with a splash homer to give the San Francisco Giants a 5-4 victory over the Colorado Rockies on Sunday. If so, Crawford likely will be involved in most of them. It definitely was one of Crawford's more impressive blasts considering it came against a lefty, a breed that has given Crawford problems in his career. The play was eerily similar to one last year when Pagan shocked the Rockies with a game-ending, two-run, inside-the-park homer in the 10th inning of a 6-5 win May 25. Though the season's only two weeks old, this was a significant win for the Giants, who began their nine-game homestand by losing two of three games to Arizona. In the bottom of the ninth, Blanco had exploited another fun quirk of AT&T, the unique fence-scape in right-center field, a part of the park known as "Triples Alley" because so many balls hit there surprise! end up as triples.
