Teixeira is hitting .151 with three home runs and 12 RBIs in 15 games for New York after missing the early portion of the season because of the injury, sustained during the World Baseball Classic. The first baseman removed himself in the fourth inning of Saturday's game against the Angels in Anaheim when he said he did not feel the proper "snap" in his wrist while batting.
