    So what happened during Thursday’s much-anticipated Richie Incognito’s grievance hearing? Now that suspended guard Richie Incognito has agreed to delay his grievance hearing pending completion of Ted Wells’ independent investigation, Wells can interview Incognito. Incognito also has a separate grievance with the Dolphins, which has been postponed until the conclusion of the NFL investigation. Meanwhile, Incognito apparently has received something in exchange for his agreement to postpone the hearing. It’s unclear why Incognito agreed to abandon his effort to force a return to the team. Wells also met with Incognito on Thursday night, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. Wells spent the entire week Monday through Friday with the Dolphins talking to players and team executives. While that doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll be vindicated by the investigation, the decision to postpone the hearing should be viewed not as a sign of weakness but confidence.
