The Jaguars claimed cornerback Jamell Fleming off waivers on Monday. As a rookie, Fleming played in 15 games, starting three. Fleming was a third round pick of the Cardinals in 2012 and appeared in 15 games as a rookie. The Cardinals had released Fleming in order to activate receiver Kerry Taylor from the practice squad. The 5-foot-11, 206-pound Fleming was a third-round pick out of Oklahoma in the 2012 draft. He was selected 80th overall. It’s not the first time this offseason the Jaguars have looked toward players released from teams in the NFC West. Defensive end Chris McCoy was signed to the practice squad.
