When Jason Pierre-Paul was at his best, he felt like a big kid on the football field. Everything came easily. Everything seemed fun. For Pierre-Paul, nothing about football is making him say “wow!” anymore. “I’m not having that fun I’m used to,” Pierre-Paul said Thursday, via Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News. Actually, Pierre-Paul seemed to find himself a year ago when, in just his second year in the NFL, he had 16½ sacks. “I’m not having that fun I’m used to,” the 23-year-old said on Thursday. After climbing to the top of the mountain, it’s not always easy to go back into the valley with everyone else and try to dig out again especially when the target is larger on the Giants’ backs than it was a year ago.
