Bears quarterback Jay Cutler will miss Sunday’s game against the Vikings, his third straight missed game as he continues to recover from a high ankle sprain. Coach Marc Trestman confirmed at his press conference today that Cutler is expected to miss at least another week. Trestman added, however, that he is “totally confident” that Cutler will play again at some point this season. The Bears haven’t disclosed the severity of Cutler’s ankle injury, but the quarterback has said he hopes to return by the time the club faces the Dallas Cowboys on Dec. 9 at Soldier Field. I might be like, 'I'm gonna miss a few OTAs and go on an extra vacation.' But at some point, I'm gonna be back there."
