WINNIPEG - Winnipeg Jets forward Mark Scheifele will be out of the lineup for at least a few weeks due to a knee injury. Scheifele was injured 11:18 into the second period after a collision with Islanders defenseman Calvin de Haan. When asked if it was a failure that he didn't improve the Jets , he replied that's a matter of perspective. Cheveldayoff said he had talks with other clubs about trades, but decided the pieces didn't fit within the "parameters" he had set for a squad that's put itself in the hunt for a playoff spot.
