"Everything went well," Kazmir said. "I felt pretty good out there. As things stand right now, I'd put Kazmir in the rotation. Against the Angels, Kazmir allowed no runs on three hits with four strikeouts and one free pass. Kazmir wasn't his sharpest, but he certainly has been pretty sharp thus far. The Angels very much had an 'A' lineup out there with the likes of Bourjos, Callaspo, Hamilton, Trumbo, Kendrick, Wells, and Ianetta and Kazmir held them at bay. He allowed a leadoff single to Mark Trumbo in the second inning, but then induced a double-play groundout off the bat of Howard Kendrick and followed that with a strikeout of Vernon Wells.
