Lane is listed as having an ankle injury and Sweezy a concussion. Sweezy , the only offensive lineman who had started every game this season for the Seattle Seahawks, will not play Sunday because of a concussion. Sweezy will not play against the Cardinals this week because of a concussion, coach Pete Carroll said. The odd thing about Sweezy’s situation is he practiced Wednesday before the Seahawks realized he was suffering from the effects of a concussion. Lane has been Seattle’s primary nickelback the last two games. Carroll also said on the show that cornerback Jeremy Lane rested a sore ankle Thursday but should be able to play against the Cardinals. “He went through the concussion protocol and didn’t make it back,” Seattle Pete Carroll said Friday after practice.
