The Los Angeles Clippers have signed forward Brandon Davies, the team announced Thursday. The Los Angeles Clippers have signed rookie Brandon Davies after the forward impressed the club in summer league play. Davies was a member of the Clippers' Summer League team in Las Vegas, averaging 5.8 points and 4.0 rebounds in 15.8 minutes over five games. The 6-foot-9 Davies spent the past four seasons at BYU, averaging 17.7 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists as a senior last year. Davies missed the rest of the season, but returned for two more years at the Mormon Church-owned school. "We really liked Brandon in Summer League," Clippers coach Doc Rivers said in a statement. The forward averaged 12.4 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 24.1 minutes over his four-year collegiate career for the Cougars.
