• Love to undergo arthroscopic knee surgery

    Summary of 3 articles · Updated Apr 9, 2013
Love will have arthroscopic surgery to remove a buildup of scar tissue in his left knee, the Timberwolves announced on Monday night. The arthroscopic procedure is reportedly intended to address an issue that cropped up several weeks after Love's January hand surgery and has become more acute in recent days. Love needed surgery this time to repair it, and the Wolves were hopeful he was going to get back on the court before the season ended. The Wolves called it a minor procedure and said Love was expected to be out four to six weeks while recovering. The Minnesota Timberwolves announced Monday night that the All-Star power forward will miss the remainder of the regular season but, in a bit of a twist, the season-ending injury has nothing to do with the two broken bones in his right hand that limited him to just 18 games this year.
