What seemed apparent this week became official Saturday, when the Chargers announced linebacker Manti Te’o was officially out for Monday’s game against the Texans. The resistance running Manti Te'o did Wednesday was the rookie's most strenuous public workout since he showed up at Chargers Park in a protective boot Aug. 10. At the time of his injury, San Diego coach Mike McCoy said Te’o would be in the boot for a week. Te'o said the pronunciation goofs don't bug him. Also Saturday, the Chargers listed wide receiver Malcom Floyd , cornerback Johnny Patrick , defensive end Corey Liuget , wide receiver Eddie Royal , safety Brandon Taylor and cornerback Shareece Wright as probable.
