    To take Marte's place on the active roster, the Pirates recalled outfielder Andrew Lambo from Triple-A Indianapolis. Lambo has appeared in four games with the Pirates this season. He has tallied one hit a double in nine at-bats. The Pittsburgh Pirates placed leadoff hitter Starling Marte on the 15-day disabled list Saturday with a bruised right hand. Before getting hurt, Marte was batting .282 with 11 home runs and 33 RBIs. Marte was injured when he was thrown out trying to steal third base in the eighth inning of Pittsburgh's 4-2 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks on Aug. 18. He remained in the game but hasn't played since.
