NEW YORK The New York Mets may bring up top pitching prospect Zack Wheeler to start one of the games of a doubleheader at Atlanta on June 18. “Over all I feel like I’m ready,” said Wheeler, who acknowledged that he was eager to get started. Wheeler, 23, who will make his next and potentially last start for the Las Vegas 51s, the Mets’ Class AAA team, this Thursday, has kept abreast of the rumors, but he has tried not to let them distract him. By delaying bringing him up until this point in the season, the Mets are assured he won't be eligible for salary arbitration until after the 2016 season. Harvey, a 24-year-old right-hander who made his major league debut last summer, is 5-0 with a 2.10 ERA and 95 strikeouts in 90 innings.
