Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean tweeted that Munchak brought in Moore in a spur of the moment decision, classified him as a “helping hand” for the rest of the season and said that new coordinator Dowell Loggains is excited to have him as a resource. I think it’s a good move. With the defense currently ranked 29th in yards allowed and 31st in points allowed, it’s fair to wonder if Palmer’s departure is just the start of changes to the rest of the staff. Moore was on the field for Thursday's practice, working with the quarterbacks while Loggains talked with reporters for the first time as offensive coordinator.
