But Kaeding tended to come up short, or wide, in the postseason, making just eight of 15 field goals. "Over the last three years I've struggled with recurring muscle injuries in my kicking leg," Kaeding said, according to KCRG-TV. After consulting with both medical professionals and personal advisers, I've come to the conclusion that I can no longer perform at the level of consistency and durability that is required of me as an athlete in the National Football League."
