    The New Orleans Saints have released defensive end Braylon Broughton, Saints General Manager Mickey Loomis announced Monday afternoon. Broughton's roster spot will be filled by defensive tackle Isaako Aaitui, who reached an agreement to sign a two-year deal with the Saints last week.Allen Park The Lions filled the last vacancy on their 90-man roster Tuesday night when they were awarded defensive end Braylon Broughton off waivers from New Orleans. Broughton, 6-6, 272, was originally signed as an undrafted free agent prior to the 2012 season from Texas Christian University where he was a three-year letterman. Broughton appeared in 40 games for the Horned Frogs, totaling 45 tackles , 9.5 stops for a loss, three sacks, three passes defensed, two fumble recoveries and one blocked kick.
