Per a league source with nothing of the situation, a new deal between the Seahawks and Bennett is not imminent. Yes, the Seahawks would like to re-sign defensive end Michael Bennett. They have two players in the Legion of Boom, their vaunted secondary, who are due contract extensions this offseason because they are heading into the final year of their deals in 2014: Richard Sherman and Earl Thomas.
