• Packers' Benson pays fines on three citations

    Green Bay Packers running back Cedric Benson has paid fines for three citations in eastern Wisconsin. According to the Associated Press, Benson has paid fines for a trio of citations in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin. He also paid more than $650 for speeding and driving without a valid license citations for another January incident. Benson, the fourth overall pick in the 2005 draft, started the first five games of the 2012 season with the Packers before suffering a foot injury.  Benson goes to court on that citation next Wednesday. WLUK-TV reports Benson still faces another animal-at-large citation. A sheriff's department report says the dogs chewed on the calves' legs and that several suffered deep wounds.
