Joel Peralta will be returning to the Rays in 2013. According to several news outlets, Peralta signed a two-year, $6 million deal, with a $2.5 million option for 2015. The newspaper reported that Peralta will receive $6 million over the two seasons with a $2.5 million option for the 2015 season. Signing Peralta means Tampa Bay will enter the 2013 season with the same pair of relievers covering the eighth and ninth innings, as the club picked up closer Fernando Rodney's 2013 option last week. Howell are also free-agent relievers from this year's team, but there is no word yet whether the team will try and sign either.
