Before the Vikings started practice on Wednesday, wide receiver Percy Harvin said that he would be on the field with his teammates. Missing from the workout, however, were receivers Percy Harvin and Michael Jenkins. Receiver Percy Harvin did not, raising significant doubt about whether he'll be available for the start of a critical three-game stretch against NFC North opponents. Harvin earlier said he would try to practice, but the Vikings obviously thought otherwise. By kickoff Sunday, Harvin will have had 20 full days between games, a lengthy break that will have given him plenty of time to treat that sprained left ankle. Campbell is listed as having a rib injury, which isn’t a surprise given how often he got hit on Monday night, and Cutler’s status indicates that he’s been cleared to return to practice after his concussion. Receiver Michael Jenkins also missed practice because of a foot injury, leaving the Vikings with four healthy receivers: Jerome Simpson Stephen Burton and rookie Jarius Wright The Vikings are in NFC playoff contention with a 6-4 record, but the most difficult portion of their schedule is about to begin.
