    Carmichael has been with the Saints since 2006. New Orleans Saints offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael Jr.is reportedly "on the radar" at Boston College for the school's head coaching vacancy, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Carmichael grew up in New England and was the MVP of Boston College’s baseball team during his college years, and his parents, siblings and in-laws all still live in the Boston area. During his weekly press conference on Wednesday afternoon, Carmichael said his focus clearly was on the Saints' Thursday night game at , although he is "absolutely" flattered to hear his name associated with the job. So the opportunity to go back home to Boston College, where his father was once a football assistant, could be a lure. Saints General Manager Mickey Loomis said the organization has not been contacted by the school. He has previously served on the staffs of the Chargers, Redskins and Browns, and at Louisiana Tech and the University of New Hampshire.
